Pre-finished Timber Flooring
Similar to a floating floor, the pre-finished flooring system is a simple, cost-effective option for the installation of timber floors.
The floor boards are assembled, sanded, stained and varnished at a factory as opposed to on-site. Completing these treatments in our factory under carefully monitored conditions allows us to provide you with a long-lasting product. There will also be no ‘chemical’ smell in your home after installation, since the boards are aired completely before fitting.
There are also a variety of colour and grain options available. Although pre-finished flooring is most effective as a hardwood application, it also comes in bamboo and engineered timber.
The pre-finished flooring is installed on top of your existing floor and then nailed down to secure it properly. There is less long-term maintenance involved and it is fully as durable as traditional timber floors.
